A WEEKEND IN MY LIFE || Canning Jam, Garage Sale, Gardening

This week I am taking you guys along with me for a weekend in my life. I spent my weekend picking and making cherry jam and hosting a garage sale! Oh, and I did a few other things in between :)

Cherry Jam Recipe
1 quart chopped or pitted cherries
2 Tbsp lemon juice
6 1/4 cup sugar
2 pouches liquid pectin ( I decided to use powder pectin and adjusted my recipe for it)

Combine cherries, sugar, and lemon juice in a large saucepan. Bring to a boil, stirring until sugar dissolves. Stir in pectin. Return to a rolling boil. Boil hard 1 minute, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Ladle hot jam into hot jars, leaving 1/4” headspace. Process 10 minutes in a boiling water bath.

** since I used powder pectin I added my sugar first and my pectin later :) Just switched the recipe around!
