Waxing Cheese using a Wax Melting Bowl

Waxing your finished cheese before maturation is an easy task if you follow a few simple tips that I provide in this tutorial.

Heat the wax to 80-90C (176-194F), no hotter. You're not trying to cook the cheese!
Put your cheese wheel in the freezer for 15 minutes before waxing your cheese. It helps the wax set quicker.
Use greaseproof paper as a work surface to avoid the waxed cheese from sticking to everything.
Use a little natural bristled brush to fill in any gaps in your wax coating.
