Ever, wonder how much revenue you're leaving on the table with an ineffective? Coupon strategy. Imagine turning every subscriber into a loyal, customer with the right approach today, I'll show you how to master coupons in clavio. Stay tuned, because by the end of the video, you'll be creating coupon codes like a champ. I'm Eric from strategmail. And today, I'm going to talk about all things coupons and how to use them in your clavio campaigns. Coupons are a powerful tool but only if used correctly inclavio, you have two main types of coupons, static and dynamic static coupons are Universal codes. That can be shared widely like, welcome 10 or 4th of July. They're great for General promotions but can be easily overused and even leaked to coupon sites. On the other hand, Dynamic, coupons are individualized codes that can only be used once, these are perfect for targeted promotions, like reward. Customers or creating urgency and abandoned cart flows, let me show you how to set them up. So we're going to do first is we're going to set up coupons as a whole. If you've never set up a coupon, this is where you'd start. So you're going to choose your name in the bottom left hand corner, you're going to go to settings. Once we're here in settings, we're going to go to other, then we're going to go to profile maintenance. Then make sure this uploaded coupons is turned on. Here's what it looks like when it's toggled off. Here's what it looks like when it's toggled on, make sure that it's toggled on now that the coupons are toggled on, we're going to Go to the clavio homepage, to make sure that everything refreshes correctly. We can start setting up our actual coupon codes. So you're going to do for a static code, is you're going to go to your eCommerce website and get a code there. You're going to go to either campaigns or flows depending on what you're editing and you're going to choose an email that you want to edit. I already have that set up in this tab right here I'm going to click edit On my template, we're going to change this code in here to say, welcome 10. As long as the setup on your e-commerce site, you should be good to go. There's nothing else. You need to change here. Well since it's saved right here, we can check it on mobile. I would recommend sending a test email just to make sure it looks good. And then you can send it off or schedule it to be sent off or update your flow. Now we're going to do is we're going to set up the dynamic coupon codes. The way we're going to do that is we're going to go back to the home page. We're going to click on content to open that up and then we're going to click on coupons, looks like I have no coupons. I'm going to click on create uploaded, coupons, the coupon name is what you're going to put in, so make it pretty easy to say. So I'm going to say, welcome is the name of the coupon these coupons never expire. If you do want them to expire in a specific date, you can click that and then, choose whatever day you want for. Right now, I'm going to set these never expire. These customers can use these coupon codes at any time. So I'm going to say create coupon, so we're going to click the three dots and add codes. We are going to upload the unique coupon codes. I have a file here that is called clavio coupons. Make sure you only have as many coupons as you need. So we're going to save this as a CSV. We're going to go back here to home. Select file and open up coupons. The first few rows of the CSV, start with xsd xsd and then the, the third one is MHL, and that's MHL perfect. So we know these top three match, that's great. We're going to click this button in the bottom right hand corner. That I think might be underneath me that says import coupons, the coupons have been imported successfully so we're going to do is we're going to close that out and we are going to Scroll down. As you can see recent coupon uploads to welcome last. Seven days was completed the import started at 5 13 PM and it imported 100 correctly. None were skipped, none had no data which is great. So now that we made sure everything is correct. We're going to click done in the bottom right hand corner. Now we're going to do is we're going to put this welcome coupon into our email. You either go to flows or campaigns depending on where you're editing this. But since I have the e
