How to use an Espar Bunk Heater | Trucking Answers

My truck has an Espar Bunk heater and I show in this video how to use it. How to turn on the bunk heater, how to set the temperature and I show the exhaust pipe for it. The exhaust may produce smoke but that is normal depending on the outside temperature and how often you use it. These save fuel and are very quiet. It works like a furnace, maintaining a set temperature in the bunk. I have used them to about -4 degrees and they kept me warm. I think at a certain point you should run the truck but that is up to your company. You may hear a clicking sound, this is normal. The Espar bunk heater works like a gas furnace, it burns diesel and uses a heat exchanger. I really like them. If you keep the curtains open it will warm the entire cab of the truck.
