China Terrible Flood ! Super Typhoon Doksuri Sinks Entire City

Typhoon Doksuri has hit China since Friday (28/7/2023) and is not expected to subside. Beijing, as the city through which the typhoon passed, imposed a top-level alert and prepared drainage and electricity infrastructure so that it could support residents' lives during the storm.

China's national meteorological authority has issued a "red alert" for heavy rain in the capital region, only the second-highest warning since a color-coded warning system was introduced in 2010.

The warning affects tens of millions of residents of Beijing and the nearby port city of Tianjin, as well as parts of Hebei, Shanxi, Shandong and Henan provinces. Doksuri is the most powerful typhoon to hit China this year and the second strongest typhoon to hit the southeastern province of Fujian since Typhoon Meranti in 2016.
