This is not something that we often talk about on this channel, but I thought it might be an interesting topic for some of you here. It is about the best shopping deals in the world, and how to get them!

We're especially focused on designer items. Can you buy labels like Gucci, Prada, or Dior for less? If yes where?

Here are my (actually my wife's) discoveries for the best places where you can get amazing designer items deals.
The best one on the list is located near Florence, Italy. It's called the Mall and it offers a huge selection of designer boutiques for a fraction of the price. If you visit at the right time of the year you can run into even further discounts. They offer a variety of brands, such as Jimmy Choo, Saint Laurent, Valentino, Givenchy, Tom Ford, Balenciaga, Prada, Versace, and many more! This mall is also the home of the biggest Gucci boutique in the world!

Another one mentioned in the video (that we're not so impressed with) is the Serravalle outlet, not so far from Genoa. This one is extremely popular, and many people shopped there. If you're looking for mid-range brands, such as Karl Lagerfeld, Pinko, Michael Kors, Guess, Liu Jo, etc you should certainly visit the Serravalle outlet. You could find some designer labels here, but the previous one has a way better selection and more stores.

The third one I talked about is near Paris. It's called La Vallee Village. It's fairly small and doesn't offer amazing deals like the ones in Italy. It's about an hour-long train ride from Paris, and if you happen to be in Paris you might want to check it out.

I've also seen that this same company has outlets in other European cities, such as London. Not the best deals in the world, but still a good place to visit if you like shopping.

One EXTREMELY important thing if you're not an EU citizen is that you can retrieve a part of the VAT of your purchases if you take a TAX-FREE form in a boutique. This way you can get around 14% cashback, which means that your shopping trip is even more discounted! Usually, these will be done via the two biggest Tax-Free companies in the EU: Global Blue and Planet tax-free.
VAT in the EU is around 20%, so these companies will keep the rest, while you will get a portion of your money back.

Another thing that I've mentioned is related to buying electronics. If you want the best possible deals on those, then you shouldn't shop in Europe. Best deals for electronics (laptops, phones, etc) are certainly in the US. Alternatively, you can get good prices in Singapore and the UAE.
