Phenomenal! Nothing less than, phenomenal! Djunah opening with the first two cuts on the album. And with the title of the first song you can imagine what the two combined are about when you know about Phaethon (which I explain in a short piece in the comments). First, my interpretation. These two songs are very strong exclamations, they outcry & sympathize with the plight of women and are a very strong and important message to everyone from a woman who wants to be heard. And by the way again, no one told me this is what the songs are about, this is how I see it, or at least something like this until I find out more or different.

The band, led by Donna Diane who does everything except drums and Nick Smallkoski on drums. I've seen a few artists who play two instruments at the same time, or use a loop pedal to do harmony with themselves, play one instrument in hand and another with feet, I've even seen someone paint while he's preforming (Joseph Arthur). But if you don't say Donna Diane is unique - which is something many people would say - you at least have to admit that she's in a class of musicians that very few people can attend. For Djunah everything means she sings, she plays guitar (including lead), AND she plays the Moog at the same time using her right foot to press on a series of pedals that are connected to either a Moog itself or Moog controller on the rack that has her guitar pedals. It's extremely hard to do and I was extremely impressed. Its' been a great year so far for women in music and I'm looking forward to more. Also, can't wait to see Djunah again, come back soon.
