Cookies and Cream Pound Cake 🍰 | #CakeByThePound | Kitchen Trap Queen

Recipe ingredients below ....

For the cake:
2 sticks salted butter, softened
8 Tbs butter flavored shortening (can substitute with 1 stick of butter)
8 oz cream cheese, softened
3 c sugar
5 eggs
3 c cake flour
1 c milk
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp vanilla extract ( I use Mexican vanilla)
15-20 crushed Oreos

For the icing:
1 1/2 c powdered sugar
2 Tbs heavy whipping cream
2 Tbs milk or water
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
2 pinches of salt

Bake on 325 Fahrenheit for 1hr 15 mins or until an inserted toothpick comes out clean.
