Model Trains at the Texas City Museum!

My family and I went to check out the public display put on by the Galveston County Model Railroad Club every Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Texas City Museum. I walked in expecting to see an HO scale layout or two and maybe an N scale layout. I was completely floored when I saw two operating N scale layouts; two HO scale layouts; an HOn30 layout, a compact G scale layout; a decent sized O gauge layout; and one Z scale and two N scale layouts not actually being ran! This is a first rate exhibit put on by the club and good on the museum for housing them! This public exhibit is definately worth the paltry $7/person the museum charges for admission. If you are into model trains or just trains in general, and you and the family are heading down the Galveston way for some fun in the sun on a Saturday, you should definately include this museum as stop on your marry way!
