In this episode at the modern image 00 gauge layout New Junction, We take a trip up north to visit the Modern image O gauge show, during the show I noticed one layout stage a deliberate derailment as a mid day show stopper.

Back on the 'O' gauge layout Apethorn Junction, I was blown away by the creativity to replicate a derailment scene and provide adequate time for the operators to go and have a lunch break together.
