Seal Baby Caught In Old Gill Net

When Naude and Denzil from Ocean Conservation Namibia first saw this pup lying on the beach, they thought it was already dead. The lines looked old and the pup looked like she had given up on life. The seals were startled and they all ran towards the water, and the rescuers thought she's gotten away. After approaching the group from the side, they found her again, and managed to grab her before she could reach the ocean.
The lines had luckily not caused any major damage to her yet, but they were wrapped around her head, neck and mouth, and would have made swimming difficult, and eating virtually impossible. 🦭
