West End Eagles ~ Thunder Brings In Cormorant & Takes Over Feeding From Chet! 🐦 Huge Crops! 3.29.24

Chet was busy feeding the triplets gull and they already have nice crops showing. WE1 on the left is HUGE and WE3 is closest to Chet. Thunder flies in with a cormorant and she takes over the feeding without missing a beat! WE3 gets first dibs! WE2 reaches for food over WE1 and bumps and WE1 ends up giving WE3 a bonk instead of WE2 lol Thunder does a good job feeding all of the eaglets. Chet brings Thunder a fish at 12:45 - just add it to the pantry ♥ At the end of the feeding you will see each one has a huge crop with WE1 being enormous! When the feeding is over, they all scramble to get their positions for the night with Mom. Thank you for watching!

Nest info: Eaglets WE1, hatch 3/9 -3am; WE2, hatch 3/9 -7pm; WE3, 3/12 hatch by 4:10am; Thunder (F) 15 yrs old; Akecheta (M) (wing tag 61) 8 yrs old.

This eagle pair is a success story, part of a bald eagle restoration program started by the Institute for Wildlife Studies in 1980. Their nest has been active since 1991 and has been streaming live since 2005.
