Three Book Book Nook and a bit of driving around...

Karyn has built the "DIY House" laser cut wood kit of a three-book "book nook".

Book nooks are dioramas inside a book. The book can be placed on a shelf of books to create a fun scene between the books. The back of the book nook usually looks like a book, usually the scene in the diorama is a scene from the book's story.

However, as these miniatures have become more popular the book nooks are now often stand-alone miniatures, almost like dollhouses. As is the case here. The scene consists of three books together on a base, each book a structure on a street scene.

Lights are perhaps the funniest part of any book nook. The scenes usually feature elaborate lighting for the scene.

As always Karyn has added many details and altered the kit, in this case building a wood base with the battery box hidden inside the base. The battery box has been changed to a better battery bok and more lights added.
