We Were There, June 23, 2015
9/11 Family Member Arlene B. shares her personal story of September 11th in her 9/11 Tribute Museum presentation of "We Were There" onstage at the National September 11th Memorial Museum.
Arlene's husband Paul was one of the 343 FDNY firefighters killed on 9/11. The two were married for 15 years, and had just broke ground on the construction of their first home together that summer. Arlene's story recounts her day on 9/11, the search for her husband in the aftermath, and the incredible bond that she formed with her husband's fellow firefighters on their roads to healing.
