Hi, I'm Matt with etrailer. Today, we're gonna be talking about the Gustafson's LED lights. Now, this is gonna be the one with two lights on it. And I think it looks fairly nice inside the RV we have today. So let's take a closer look at it. So here at etrailer, we're gonna have a bunch of different light fixtures for you to choose, and mix and match in your RV to see what fits best for you.

Now, the one we have today specifically is gonna have two lights. So two lights, always better than one light. And with this type of design, it's gonna have this more clear shade to it, but it's gonna have a opaqueness. So that light is gonna be diffused on the sides. It's gonna be a little bit brighter down beneath it.

And above that, we're gonna have that actual frame itself. And this is gonna be a semi-glossy finish, that's gonna be black. I think looks fairly good in our RV today, and I think it will match most RVs out there. With these being LED lights, LED lights last a long time so you don't have to worry about replacing these for a while. And with this type of color we're getting from here, this is gonna be a more in-between temperature, so it's not gonna be too cool or too warm.

Me personally, I like something along on the warmer side since it makes things feel a little bit homey. But this is still gonna give you plenty of light when to sit down, have a meal with your family, or play a game of cards. Now speaking of that, these lights are gonna turn on when your other lights turn on, but you can also shut these off independently. So the way we can do that is just by reaching up here, pressing this button. (switch clicks) And that's gonna shut right off.

And it's gonna be great because if you want to leave this area but leave your other lights on, you can do that. And if you ever wanna sit down here, need that extra light, (switch clicks) press it, and you're good to go. So that's really pretty compact for a lot of lights out there, especially with how narrow it is. Now, if you don't like this orientation as it is right now, you can flip this by 90 degrees. 'Cause if you think when you get up, you might be more likely to be hitting your head like that, it's easy to adjust if you need to. So really, it's not a whole lot to 'em, and I think this is gonna be a great option for anyone who is looking for more of this dual light style 'cause it just fits your aesthetic of your RV a little bit more. And you like this type of light it's emanating, then this will be a great one for you. Now, when it comes to actually installing it, it's gonna be the same process as any other type of light fixture that we have. First, we wanna start off by taking off our old light fixture. So in our case today, it's kind of hard to reach, so I'm just gonna grab a smaller ratchet with a bit on the very end of it, and move it this way. I'd recommend also keeping the hardware to this because the kit we have today doesn't come with any hardware, so you're probably gonna have to reuse this. If this hardware is damaged, I'd recommend just picking some extra up so you can install your light fixture. (ratchet creaks) Really, just two screws for most of them. We're gonna have these wire nuts that are already on here. Sometimes, these aren't gonna be on there, so we're lucky enough that we can reuse this. If you don't have any on here currently, then you can pick some up. Now, sometimes you'll have this type of style. This is gonna be something you'll have to cut off or break off. And those aren't recommended to reuse. So if you have the wire nuts, you'll be good to go. Our original light did have two bulbs on it, so we had an extra wire in the equation. All I did was just capped this off with a wire nut and some electric tape. So we should be good to go. Now we can put our new light fixture up there. With our new light fixture, we're just gonna make sure we have our power and ground, and we're just gonna connect it to our wires up here. Just make sure, again, you don't have any power active at the moment so we don't shock ourselves. Just gonna start by twisting that on just lightly, just so it stays in place for us when we put those wire nuts on. There we have it. And when you're putting this wire nut on, we're just gonna get that on enough where it feels fairly snug. If you have a friend, this will make it a little bit easier so they can hol
