Carol Burnett is a legendary comedienne and actress who has spent nearly seven decades on TV. She's probably best known for starring in the trailblazing sketch comedy variety show The Carol Burnett Show. Although the show originally aired on CBS, it's been re-running in syndication ever since.

She was actually the first woman to helm a show of it's kind. Burnett is now 87, but she's yet to retire. It seems that show business is in her blood. She's unlikely to quit performing at this point even though she very clearly has nothing to prove.
