Dog with Degenerative Myelopathy (DM) Walks Again!
Rubix, a 6-year-old German Shepherd, was a personal protection dog, full of life. This was until he was diagnosed with Degenerative Myelopathy (DM), which is similar to ALS in humans. He began losing function in his rear limbs, which ultimately landed him in a Walkin' Wheels dog wheelchair, that has changed his life for the better. He is back on his feet, and able to do the things he used to again.
