Cyclone Dovi Live Coverage - 12pm NZDT February 11th

Cyclone Dovi has intensified quite well over the last 12 hours, currently a Category 2 cyclone with winds of 105mph, according to the Joint Typhoon Warning Center's latest update. The storm is likely to affect New Zealand as an extratropical cyclone in the coming few days as it continues to move southward.

The Bureau of Meteorology has issued a cyclone warning to Norfolk Island, where it is expected to pass close later this evening local time.

Residents in Norfolk Island and New Zealand should keep watch of the storm as it progresses.
