In this week’s video we look at the main things to consider when viewing a property for the first time. Remember to check the outside structure of the house, the roof, brickwork and facias. On the inside, look for damp (with a damp meter) and check the size of the rooms (with a laser measure). Check the electric and fuse board, the gas meter and boiler. Make sure these are new. Check behind furniture as this might be hiding unwanted nasties!
