After getting words from Stacker, Raleigh is seen taking his tray of food and beverage. Everyone around him felt disgusted and smuggling away their pity for him as he walks down the stairs to the benches and tables. As he stands on the aisle, Mako entered the cafeteria as well where Raleigh is leveled on, the entire crowd stares at these two for the wrong that they've done which almost destroyed and creating calamity to everyone. The two sneaked away and instead, have their meals at the Jaeger factory where Gypsy is being maintained. Raleigh apologized about how he failed to let go of the memories as it's not something everyone can just hide from everyday. Raleigh informs Mako that she might not be able just latch onto her own memory but she also intervene neurally with Raleigh's memory where he suffered with trauma, losing his brother.

Mako acknowledges and tells Raleigh that she could feel Raleigh's pain as well through the Drift. Raleigh believes that the most difficult thing people have to do nowadays is to let go of their horrific past and adapt. That these two have to really know each other and trust each other as well, not by force. Instead, letting it flow naturally through the Drift. Then, when the mechanics and engineers opens up Gypsy's left breastplate, a bright orange glow emerged as the workers progress their maintenance in there and the light embossed onto Gypsy's north direction.
