Fresh from the Western Kansas Prairie! Four cool cars & one old truck exactly "As I Found them"!
I have to apologize for the wind on this video. We were out in Western Kansas on the wide open prairie and there wasn't anything to block the wind where these vehicles were sitting! The fuzzy cat on my microphone was no match for the Kansas wind!
There are some really cool ones out here! There's a 1936 Chrysler, a 1937 Ford 2 door sedan, a 1938 Chevy truck, a 1957 Buick Roadmaster, and a 1960 Chevy Parkwood Station Wagon!!!!! I will be bringing you detailed videos on each of these vehicles over the next few weeks, so stay tuned!
I was able to get out of the wind to share the very unique story about this particular piece of ground. It is still in the same family after over 150 years of ownership!
However, where the vehicles were sitting, there was absolutely nothing to block the wind. I made the decision to go ahead and shoot it while I could. I feel that it is important to try and document these finds when I come across them, exactly as I find them, exactly where they are sitting! This probably hurts my video views since I do have to deal with the elements from time to time and my videos aren't as "polished" as some peoples are, but I am personally more concerned with the "actual" as is, where is documentation.
There was a skid steer on site and the landowner had offered to help move all of the vehicles around so that I would be able to back up to them with my trailer. Since he was on site and willing to help, I had to shoot the video while I had the chance. His help moving the vehicles was huge for me loading these when I brought them in!
So, that all being said, I apologize for the wind noise, but I was definitely more worried about the story and documenting the "as found" state of these cool old vehicles!
If you like old cars, trucks, and automobilia, be sure to check out all of my other videos! Please subscribe so you can keep up with the new videos as I post them!
If you have questions about vehicles or parts, the only way to get a hold of me is to call me, 8 AM-8 PM CST, no texts.
If I don’t answer, I’m probably on the phone with someone else and if you don’t leave me a message, I just assume you're another telemarketer trying to sell me an extended warranty! LOL!
If you comment, message, text, e-mail, etc., don't expect me to find it and don't expect an answer. Thanks for watching, Chad 620-786-4428
