Do We Need Bigger Culverts? - Flash Flood at the Farm!

After a very wet beginning to the month, on June 15, 2019 the farm received nearly 4 inches of rain in a 24 hour window. At one point, we received as much as 1.5 inches in a 15 minute period! The surrounding fields were overly saturated and an immense amount of surface water (flash flood) flushed through the farm. Chris and Adam separately documented the event. It seems they had never seen water before. It's a shame we didn't already have the pond!
