The High Five Cocktail Recipe | Booze ON The Rocks

Today on Booze On The Rocks, we make the High Five cocktail. This elegant cocktail is well-balanced with a light bitterness and was created by Alex Day in 2010. The dry gin is tamed by the lime juice and simple syrup, which balance the Aperol. Try it out, and let me know what you think.

HIGH FIVE

1.5 oz/45 ml London Dry Gin
.5 oz/15 ml Aperol
.5 oz/15 ml Simple Syrup
.5 oz/15 ml Lime Juice

Method

1. Add all ingredients to a shaker tin.
2. Shake with ice for 10 seconds.
3. Fine strain into a Coupe.
4. Garnish witha High Five.
