With a plane full of camera gear, we fly up to San Jose from Los Angeles to shoot a commercial and try to avoid icing and stay below the freezing level. I log lots of time in instrument meteorological conditions (IMC) and get a few reroutes. We get vectored all over the place on our arrival and instrument approach attempts in San Jose KSJC.

Portions of ATC communication and the flight have been edited. This video is not instructional in any way. I am not a CFI. I am sharing my experience and thoughts about this flight and this should be taken as entertainment only. By sharing mistakes and accomplishments alike, hopefully the aviation community will benefit.
