Hobo Dinner Packets - in One Pot Meals cookbook

Venison Potato Pie
Brown 1-2 pounds ground venison(beef) with 1 diced onion. Mix meat with cooked veggies (corn, carrots, green beans, mixed veggies, your favorite). Prepare two packets of brown gravy. Go a little light on the water. Add to meat/veggie mixture. Season with salt and pepper if necessary. Place in greased casserole dish and top with real prepared mashed potatoes, sprinkle with cheese and dot with butter. Bake at 350 (covered so cheese doesn't brown) for 1 hour or longer if "pie" is x-large and cold. Let rest for 15 minutes before serving. This is so good. So good!!
