Prelicensure Skills Skin Preparation is an immersive clinical training VR application that teaches you how to assist the physician by preparing the room and equipment, cleansing scrub, draping, and painting the site with antiseptic, ready for the surgical procedure.

Prelicensure nursing students use the Cloud-based Prelicensure Clinical Skills system and their Oculus Quest 2 to practice and demonstrate clinical skills competencies “anytime, anywhere”. No travel is required, availability of practice is nearly unlimited, analytics of learning outcomes provide insight for every aspect of clinical skills labs, learner performance, and learner and class skills gaps.

Additionally, research shows that learners acquire clinical skills more rapidly, with fewer errors, and retain learned skills longer through immersive learning experiences.
