2" UNC Tap Size Holes-Tool Tuesday Ep.17

I have a customer job in the shop that requires some steel plate to be machined with 2" UNC holes. Since I don't have the exact tap drill size needed I used our Flex CNC to drill and mill the holes to size. Here I am getting the program proven and be sure the holes will be on size. I use my @TungaloyCorporation 1" Drill Meister to get a hole established then use Fusion's 2D Adaptive clearing to mill the holes to exact tap size. I plan to use my Flexarm and 2" tap to cut the threads in the workpieces. #cncmachining #flexcnc #flexarm #tungaloy #helical
