Restore Dirty, Faded or Washed Out Grout with Aqua Mix Grout Colorant

Watching a video can often explain things much better than just reading the instructions. That’s why Custom Building Products made this video demonstration that explains how to apply Aqua Mix Grout Colorant and restore your dirty, faded or washed out grout.

Aqua Mix resolves grout installation issues quickly and efficiently and also corrects problem areas. Your grout can fade or become washed out from using too much water while cleaning or from cleaning too frequently.

Remember to wait at least 48 hours after a new tile installation project before applying Aqua Mix Grout Colorant so the grout has enough time to cure. If you’re restoring existing grout or grout that was originally sealed when it was installed, use a brush like the Aqua Mix Pre-Treat to open up the pores of the cement-based grout and then wait 24 hours for it to dry.

To apply the grout colorant, shake the bottle well and then use a toothbrush-sized brush to apply it into the joints. Allow the grout colorant to dry for 30 minutes to a maximum of 2 hours, and then clean off the excess with water and a nylon pad.
