How to Set Tile on a Countertop

As part of our series on DIY tile installation, this video teaches you how to set and install tile on a countertop.

Start by laying the front-edge tiles out on the countertop with either Bullnose or V-Cap tile. Once that's completed, your next step is to set out as many full-size tiles and spacers out as you can.

If the countertop is set against a wall, you want to cut the full-size tiles to fit appropriately. We also explain how to make sure your countertop tile lies straight and also go over the layout of an l-shaped countertop tile installation.
