Trying Russian квас (Kvas/Kvass) For the First Time

Kvas is THE iconic Russian drink (next to vodka). This smooth, fermented drink is usually made from rye bread but may also have additional flavors added along the way. It is naturally carbonated and has a smooth taste - a little sweet and a little sour.

In Russia you can buy kvas (kbac) from grocery stores, street vendors, vending machines, and more.

Come along as Phil tries out Kvas Nikola, an authentic Russian kvas, and compares it to Soft Drink Kvas from Canada.

Na zodorivye!

Thanks to Diana Deli for having such a great assortment of foods for us to try!
