Newly constructed Bridge 27 moves to NYMR from Cleveland Bridge by Class 66 No. 66137

Newly constructed Bridge 27 moves to the North Yorkshire Moors Railway to replace the 100 year old bridge at Goathland Station.

The bridge was constructed at Cleveland Bridge in Darlington an moved to AV Dawson's at Middlesbrough.

Class 66 No. 66137 transported the bridge to Grosmont Station on the NYMR.

The NYMR's own Class 37 No. 37264 then moved the bridge from Grosmont to the bridge site at Goathland Station.

The new Bridge 27 is due to be replaced during January 2020.
