Crystal Lewis - (@thecrystallewis) His Eye is on the Sparrow

I wanted to do something that I thought would bring, not just me, a sense of peace and maybe a little comfort, but hopefully it would bring the same to you... and so I went over to visit my parents. I didn't touch anyone, which was really hard! It's crazy to realize how much we rely on hugs... my parents do for sure and it was really hard for them... and hard for me. But we did it! So I sat down at the piano with my mom. If you've followed me for any length of time, you've probably gathered (as I've posted about this a few times) that my mom has Alzheimers. Music is something that keeps her ....LIVING.... in a lot of ways. Seeing as you never quite know what you're going to get with her, I chose not to do a live video:) But what I'm posting here is what we filmed together the other day. I grew up with my mom as my main musical mentor and primary accompanist. I'm so grateful for every one of the memories I get to create with her.
