** It's so sad that Eddie passed away. I had heard about his ailing health in social media posts for the past while. I also think they had cancelled some tour dates as well because of it. It's sad that he died, but it makes me more appreciative of the musicians still here. Especially people like Dave Mustaine who had throat cancer as well. Luckily he was able to beat it, but seeing Eddie pass away makes it very real how he could have possibly died. Don't take people for granted, and lets all work together to beat cancer once and for all for good.

I wanted to do another Van Halen song to remember Eddie, but I had a hard time choosing. One of my friends said I should do Hot for Teacher, so here we are! It’s great because my girlfriend is a teacher too :) Needless to say I spent too much time working on it today (quite possibly ignoring other responsibilities to do so). It's mostly quarter notes with a couple spots with tricky rhythms. Just a lot of notes to put onto the page, but otherwise not too hard to tab out or to play with some practice.
I Initially started tabbing it out in Eb (like the other Van Halen songs I've done), but there were some notes on a 1 that just didn't quite fit. Changing it to E Standard fixed the issue and feels a whole lot better

The biggest challenge was synching the tab and the music because of the drums having their unique rhythm.
