Statistics 04 Mean, Median, Mode, Standard deviation, Central tendency & Variability

This video on Data exploration is all about exploring most commonly used measures called as estimates that help understand the characteristics of each data variable and get a deep insight into its distribution. The estimates discussed fall into into two main / essential categories
1. central tendency / location of the data that explains all about where the data is localized or concentrated and
2. the variability which provide insight into the data dispersion
measures under central tendency discussed are
mean, median, trimmed mean, mode & expected value
measures under variability discussed are
deviation/error, mean absolute deviation, median absolute deviation, variance, standard deviation, range, percentile and Inter-quartile range ( IQR)
Additionally some handy rules namely Chebychev's rule, Emperical rule and Z Score are introduced that help understand the data concentrations (in percentage) within the range of the data values
This video provides the fundamentals concepts that one needs to be thorough with in order to progress further with data analysis
