[5K] The oldest railway tunnel in NL: Velsertunnel: Amsterdam - Haarlem - Hoorn SLT 25mei 2021

At 33:22 we enter the oldest railway tunnel in the Netherlands. Built from 1952, opened in 1957. This tunnel is located under the North Sea Canal at more than 16 meters below sea level and replaced the Velserspoor Bridge, slightly to the west of the tunnel. The length of the covered part is 2076 meters. Do you find tunnels scary? At 1:10 we make a delay because a traveler who has just gotten off has left a bag on the train. Other travelers warn the conductor who ensures that the bag is reunited with the owner. The passengers waiting in front of the closed railway crossing wait patiently for the train to leave. I think this is a great moment. For the keen viewers among you: somewhere along the way I see a beautiful blue classic '70s Cadillac (Deville I think) with a white roof. Who is the first to spot it? Op 33:22 rijden we de oudste spoortunnel van Nederland in. Gebouwd vanaf 1952, geopend in 1957. Deze tunnel ligt onder het Noordzeekanaal op ruim 16 meter beneden zeeniveau en verving de Velserspoorbrug, iets ten westen van de tunnel. De lengte van het overdekte deel is 2076 meter. Vind jij tunnels eng? Op 1:10:00 maken we wat vertraging omdat een zojuist uitgestapte reiziger een tas heeft laten liggen in de trein. Andere reizigers waarschuwen de conducteur en die zorgt ervoor dat de tas met de eigenaar herenigd wordt. De wachtende reizigers voor de gesloten spoorwegovergang wachten geduldig af tot de trein vertrekt. Een fantastische actie. Voor de scherpe kijkers onder jullie: ergens onderweg zie ik een prachtige blauwe klassieke '70s Cadillac (Deville volgens mij) rijden met wit dak. Wie is de eerste die hem ook spot?
