[HD] Suleyman Shah Oğlu Ertuğrul ● Cinematic Film ● Epic Scenes

A cinematic video with English subtitles that was created by myself over the course of the summer based on the Turkish series "Dirilis Ertugrul or Resurrection Ertugrul". The series is based on the Son of Suleyman Shah, Ertugrul Gazi who was the father of Osman I (leader and founder of the Ottoman Empire). The video contains scenes from nearly all seasons (1-5) of the series and was put together on Sony Vegas with scenes that I personally enjoyed watching.

The idea is to do one for each main alp, Turgut being the next one. However, don't expect one another 2-3 months as finding clips, cutting and editting takes a hell of a lot of time.

Ertuğrul or Ertuğrul Gazi (Ottoman Turkish: ارطغرل‎, romanized: Erṭoġrıl; Turkmen: Ärtogrul Gazy; died c. 1280) was the father of Osman I. Little is known about Ertuğrul's life. According to Ottoman tradition, he was the son of Suleyman Shah, the leader of the Kayı tribe (a claim which has come under criticism from many historians) of the Oghuz Turks, who fled from western Central Asia to Anatolia to escape the Mongol conquests, but he may instead have been the son of Gündüz Alp. According to this legend, after the death of his father, Ertuğrul and his followers entered the service of the Sultanate of Rum, for which he was rewarded with dominion over the town of Söğüt on the frontier with the Byzantine Empire.This set off the chain of events that would ultimately lead to the founding of the Ottoman Empire.
