[HD] The Story of Ertuğrul and Halime ● Cinematic Film

A cinematic video portraying the story of Ertuğrul and Halime from the Turkish series "Dirilis Ertugrul or Resurrection Ertugrul".

The edit itself gets progressively better as it goes on and my favourite sections being between 6:00 and 9:00. Like all the other edits I've done, this one is no different to the fact that it was almost impossible for me to go through every scene Ertuğrul and Halime were in together (during the four seasons). However, I briefly traced through almost all of the seasons on Netflix and handpicked my favourite scenes that fit the story line.

Of course this edit doesn't portray their FULL story, however I tried using the following story line/template:

1) Showcase Ertuğrul and Halime hurt in S1 when they couldn't get together.
2) Show a flashback of their first encounter (S1 E1).
3) Display their happy moments (chose to show the scenes of Ertugrul finding out Halime is having a child as it nicely leads onto my next Osman edit).
4) The struggles they went through in fight.
5) End it with a dramatic pan shot of Osman, getting the audience ready for the next edit.

There are so many different perspectives I could've used in this edit, but after a few days of thought I decided this one was the best.

I hope you guys enjoy, I'll be back soon, In the mean time I'll try begin the Osman edit :)

Ertuğrul or Ertuğrul Gazi (Ottoman Turkish: ارطغرل‎, romanized: Erṭoġrıl; Turkmen: Ärtogrul Gazy; died c. 1280) was the father of Osman I. Little is known about Ertuğrul's life. According to Ottoman tradition, he was the son of Suleyman Shah, the leader of the Kayı tribe (a claim which has come under criticism from many historians) of the Oghuz Turks, who fled from western Central Asia to Anatolia to escape the Mongol conquests, but he may instead have been the son of Gündüz Alp. According to this legend, after the death of his father, Ertuğrul and his followers entered the service of the Sultanate of Rum, for which he was rewarded with dominion over the town of Söğüt on the frontier with the Byzantine Empire.This set off the chain of events that would ultimately lead to the founding of the Ottoman Empire.
