Fox VS Goose
The Arctic Tundra can be harsh, yet it is a suitable habitat for Snow Geese to feed and nest for a brief time. Despite the paucity of predators in this area, danger lurks around every corner, and one hungry Arctic Fox has been assessing the scene, anxious to feed her young. The fox serves itself and tries to grab as many babies as possible. In summer, Arctic foxes shed their white coats to blend in. This gives them a natural advantage when hunting for their favorite food: fresh goslings. A meal is never far away when the chicks are small. Many fox pups die of starvation, but not these little guys, as they get their dose of goslings for breakfast. Another battle takes place in a schoolyard, this time between the same two antagonists.
The fox, on the other hand, is a little stronger this time and manages to break through the goose's defensive barrier. The fox attacks and kills the goose. Researchers had the incredible opportunity to watch an Arctic fox and one of its cubs hunting two pairs of barnacle geese with three chicks while undertaking fieldwork with seabirds in Svalbard for the Norwegian Polar Institute. This sequence was shot from above the cliffs, from one of their common bird-watching plots. If you think this fox will have an easy time killing one of these geese, think again. The geese are standing firm, while the fox runs back and forth, through the fence, between the yard and its exterior. Is he just having a good time, or does he have a plan? I don't think so, because the geese, like the Swiss guard at the Vatican, defend their territory.
Fox Hunting Chickens
This fox tries to grab whatever chicken it can and with a little perseverance and a lot of speed, it catches up to one chicken and kills it. Foxes are among the most fearsome predators on any property. Fortunately for most chicken owners, foxes are relatively low on the list of potential threats. They can, however, be a nuisance depending on the surrounding land. Foxes are typically found in densely forested areas. This fox has a field day when he breaks into this chicken coop. He attacks every chicken in sight, kills a few, and creates havoc in the coop.
The chickens are in a state of immense panic, and they just want the fox to leave. One of the chickens, calls 911 and hopefully, help is on the way. A fox breaks into a chicken coop and the chickens go wild, as they bounce all over the place to avoid being killed. With all those feathers on the ground, I’m sure a creative individual could make an excellent and comfy pillow. What a great idea for a business. After spotting a lone chicken taking a morning stroll in the grass, a fox stalks the chicken for a few seconds, before delivering the deadly blow and killing the chicken.
