Penny stock market is very much driven by psychological emotions. And we must be able to recognize the current market condition and adapt our trading strategies according to the buying and selling sentiments. Below are the 3 penny stock market cycles and general characteristics.

1. Buyer's market
-Low float stock gap ups are "likely" to hold and break out higher ($CEI stock)
-Breakout momentum tend to continue for multiple intraday breakouts ($SOLY $MLNT $ELTK)
-Possible day 2 and day 3 upside ($KPTI $FCEL)
-Penny stock short sellers are better off waiting for potential day 2 or day 3 sell off.
-Short sellers trading intraday scalps only. But trading risk reward is not optimal

2. Seller's market

-Buyers have to get in premarket trading with volume and scalp trade
