Stoat And Partridge

Returning from our usual shopping visit to Swaffham; we normally crawl through the small lanes hoping to see some wildlife. We'd already seen an Hare and we pulled into one of our favourite fields and this all happened 20 metres in front of us. The quality is not brilliant because it was filmed through the car windscreen. The Partridge was mesmerised by The Stoat and several times got very close, indeed close enough for The Stoat to strike. Eventually The Partridge flew off unharmed, a very close call. The Stoat continued to entertain us for a few minutes before disappearing.
I believe that Stoats use this sort of behaviour to get close enough to strike at their prey. This all happened near Little Cressingham, Norfolk.
