Bye Bye GS

After rebuilding my son's 2005 BMW 1200GS it is time to say Bye Bye. So many have followed the rebuilding and I am grateful for all the comments, sure we have learnt a lot together. But I realise that I just cannot justify two bikes and even although I love the GS, maybe even more than my RT, the time has come to say cheerio. The new owner, Derek, I am sure, will have a bike he will love! So Africa has to wait. When I keyed Chesterfield to Johannesburg into Google maps and it said just over 8 days, I thought I can do this, but it is 8500 miles??? Google doesn't allow you to stop or even sleep....more like 3 months each way! Another time maybe!
