Repair of a 1941 Motorola 81F21 Console Tube Radio

Here's a 1941 Motorola console radio and record changer. I bought this at a second hand store. It was covered in bright red paint. I bought this radio about 16 months ago. I started this project and video back then. I got the radio working as seen in the video. Then while doing some testing with the signal tracer (off camera) i left it hooked up to long and shorted the tracer and the radio out. It took me up until this point about a week ago to figure out the audio problem. A shorted coupling capacitor between the plates of the 6K6 (push pull) audio output tubes. Also a open voice coil on the speaker, which i figured out right after the short happened.

Now the radio is back and working. I finish off the project i started. 16 months ago. So many times i thought about tossing out this set. as it was in such bad shape and i just couldn't figure out the problem. Now it's done and playing good. although I'll need a new crystal cartridge for the record changer. It's dead as they normally are.
