The Village Museum is the place where you never get bored, it is the place where we can think / dream how and under what conditions our ancestors lived.
The access is made through several points, there is a main entrance and 3 secondary ones (one also through the Zoo). The Astra Museum in Sibiu, is considered the second largest open-air museum in the world, was inaugurated on August 19, 1905, the total area is 96 hectares, is home to over 300 traditional houses, with architectural styles specific to each geographical area of Romania, windmills, water mills, presses of various sizes for grapes or other fruits and oil, forges and hydraulic structures and over 16,000 exhibited pieces, specific to the traditional Romanian village. In fact, here we find a reconstruction of the Romanian village.
But apart from visiting the exhibits, what else can you do here?
There are all kinds of activities for children and parents; active relaxation, connection with nature and traditional values, active learning of children, through direct connection with the "streets" of the village and traditional values; outdoor movement in a natural and idyllic setting; running and cycling trails.
