A subscriber to this channel sent me a link to a very interesting video series by Troy Grady called 'cracking the code' . Those are wizard level guitar instruction videos for sure, like someone mentioned in the comments!
He makes very astute observations about alternate picking and the technique of 'pick slanting'. In gypsy jazz we don't do any of that but still manage to be fast and clean. As a bonus gypsy picking technique facilitates a powerful, full sound on any guitar, acoustic or electric!
In this video I teach you and demonstrate very cool sounding triplet licks played with gypsy picking technique (sometimes called 'rest stroke technique').
