Land Rover Discovery 3 LR3 auto selector stuck! Get you home Quick Fix

Quick fix to override the gear selector lock out if, for instance your brake switch fails!
This will hopefully enable you to get moving again and save you a call out charge or some time!
Remember the brake light pedal switch is a dual circuit affair! Even if your rear brake lamps are working it could still be that there is no signal going to the transmission ECU to tell your gear selector that it's ok 'unlock' from the Park position!

Thanks to Mike at MMP Land Rover in Dundee for his help.. the dual circuit brake light switch had caught me out until he took me through why the lights may well work...but you still can't move out of Park!
