Immersive walking tour of Porto de Mós, Portugal, with detailed historical information and context. Porto de Mós, located 120 km (75 miles) north of Lisbon, is a small town known for the bravery of its people throughout history.

Inhabited by the Romans, 2000 years ago, one of the town's most important landmarks is the unusual Porto de Mós castle. A former Roman lookout post, expanded into a castle by the Visigoths (5th century), the Moors (8th century) and the Portuguese in the 12th century.
