ENLIVEN SHAMOO, CONDITIONER, MOUSSE & GEL REVIEW. ARE ENLIVEN PRODUCTS CG FRIENDLY? INGREDIENTS OF EACH PRODUCT DETAILED.

Enliven is an affordable brand from the UK, easily available in the Indian Market. All their products are on sale on amazon for under Rs 300. So this begs the question? Is the brand CG friendly and can you use it on your Curly Hair.

We must first understand that CGM is a discipline, a set of rules that many curly girls follow in order to take care of their curls.
However, does that mean you HAVE to follow the Curly Girl Method in order to take care of your curls?
The answer is no.

Now, lets talk about the Enliven Products:
SHAMPOO: not cg friendly. contains sulphates, silicones & parabens
CONDITIONER: No sulphates, no silicones. Does have Parabens
MOUSSE: No sulphate, no silicones
GEL: Contains drying alcohols.

When it comes to my hair. This is what I follow:
On regular washdays: No sulphates, no silicones\
On clarifying washdays: Yes to sulphates, no to silicones
Alcohol: I use this very sparingly. Most hard hold gels contain alcohol and since I prefer extra hold, I am ok with alcohols but I make sure to overcompensate by moisturising my hair with extra heavy ingredients.
If I didn't, my hair would look extremely dry and frizzy.
