Puff Pastry Palmiers Recipe
Palmiers are crunchy and buttery desserts that everyone knows about! The golden puff pastry and the caramelized sugar that composes the palmiers are what makes them so luscious! The palmiers are so easy and fast to prepare they'll be your next go-to puff pastry desserts! This two ingredients recipe can be accomplished by everyone and yet it looks just amazing! The only difference is the cinnamon (optional)
Ingredients
-A lot of Sugar
-Puff Pastry 400g
The Instructions
Making The Palmiers
1. Sprinkle the sugar on the counter and on your puff pastry
2. Roll the dough in a 15cm x 60cm rectangle
3. Keep adding sugar multiple times on and under the dough while rolling it out
4. Trim the edges to get a perfect rectangle
5. Fold the puff pastry into 6 equal parts
6. Take the extremities and fold them in half to the middle
7. Take your new extremities and fold them until they touch at the center
8. Use your rolling pin to press the middle down
9. Then fold in half
Cut & Bake
1. Preheat the oven to 350 F°
2. Meanwhile cut the folded puff pastry into 1,5 cm
3. Place about 5 at a time on a baking sheet making sure they have enough space to puff up
4. Open them up in a V-shape
5. Bake for 15 minutes
6. Flip them and bake for another 15-20minutes
7. Enjoy
