‘All The Stars’ is lead single from Kendrick Lamar’s album, ‘Black Panther: The Album’. This track finds Kendrick collaborating with SZA. The soundtrack for the box-office Marvel movie was written and produced by Kendrick Lamar with his label boss Anthony Tiffith.

‘All The Stars’ starts with SZA's hook where she sings about the special feeling that comes along with being closer to her dreams. Then, after, Kendrick puts his own spin on the chorus, dismissing those who take advantage of his fame and fortune. The lyrics to ‘All The Stars’ go:

F*** you and all your expectations
I don't need and want all your congratulations
I recognise your false confidence
And calculated promises all in your conversations

Kendrick sees straight through the fake people in his life who just want to roll with him because he's a celebrity.

Kendrick Lamar and SZA have collaborated on multiple occasions before, such as on SZA's ‘Babylon'. Other collabs include their hookup on Kendrick’s 'untitled 04 | 08.14.2014'.

Although this isn't the first time that a musician has curated the soundtrack for a film, this does mark the first time that Marvel have integrated multiple original recordings created specifically for a film into one of their superhero films.
