Denis Kalytovskyi’s cover of ‘Shallow (A Star Is Born)’ by Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper.

‘Shallow’ is dramatic duet between Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper for the 2018 remake of ‘A Star is Born’. In the remake of the classic film, Gaga plays the rising star Ally, and Cooper the established musician Jackson Maine. Maine becomes Ally’s musical mentor and lover.

Gaga told Zane Lowe that ‘Shallow’ serves as a crucial moment in the movie: "It's 2 people talking to each other about the need and the drive to dive into the deep end and stay away from the shallow area.”

Gaga wrote ‘Shallow’ alongside producer Mark Ronson, former Dirty Pretty Things guitarist Anthony Rossomando, and songwriter Andrew Wyatt. Though she is better known for upbeat pop hits, Gaga is no stranger to ballads. She previously recorded love songs like ‘Speechless’, and ‘Million Reasons’.

The ‘Shallow’ music video shows clips from the scene in the film where Ally and Maine sing the song together on stage for the 1st time.
